One is known for sure. Dragon Horsemen were the support of Wendrick at the beginning of his path. Hand in hand with these warriors the future king seized the lands, on which the Great Kingdom was born later. In fact, the horsemen could not saddle dragons (real representatives of this species died out many millennia before those who wanted to fly on them). The knights managed to conquer only the offspring of the dragons – Wyvern or as they are also called the “Dragons of the Guardians”.

Dragons and wyverns are not the same. Dragons have 2 pairs of limbs and wings. Wyvern, in turn, has fused the front paws with wings. Dragons have large sizes and destructive power, and wyverns speed and maneuverability. In the universe of dark souls, true dragons have another difference – the presence of two pairs of wings.

The armor of the horsemen have an unbearable, even for a physically prepared person, weight. In return, they give almost absolute protection for the most part of the body of the fighter. The armor was not for nothing, but the merit. In order to get such a miracle, it was necessary to go through exhausting training, and at the end to find a common language with the Wyver.
